Going into its third year, the Building Storeys event is making a significant contribution to the promotion and awareness of heritage architecture and preservation initiatives in the city of Toronto. The event - a photographic exhibit, historic story-telling, and artist talks - is a successful collaboration between the Building Storeys collective of photographers, Heritage Toronto, corporate and private sponsors, heritage buffs, art enthusiasts, and the general public.

• Building Storeys is the only event of its kind in Toronto, mixing fine art photography with heritage preservation. Other photography exhibits may showcase historic buildings, but our collective gets access to buildings that no other group can through our collaboration with Heritage Toronto.
• We provide a free event in Toronto's most popular heritage arts hotspot - the Gladstone Hotel - giving the public access 7 days a week and opening the exhibit up to patrons and hotel guests. The Gladstone Hotel's reputation as an arts destination is unsurpassed in Toronto being a host for the CONTACT photography festival and they tap into their extensive support base to advertise the event on their website, blog, and through social media outlets such as Twitter and Facebook.
• The success of the event can be seen through the increasing media coverage - print, web, and radio - with interviews on CBC's Here and Now, articles on Spacing online,  and coverage by local newspapers.
